Polycarbonate UL94 V0 enclosures offer design engineers an excellent cost-effective alternative for instrumentation applications needing a higher level of safety. Polycarbonate UL94 V0 enclosures offer high impact resistance and excellent chemical resistance with IP65 protection. 19 sizes are now available as a stocking item.
One of the most important features of UL94 V0 material is the safety attribute it offers for enclosures near fire and heat. The material classification specifies that the plastic material be self-extinguishing up to 10 seconds after flame withdrawal and have a glow time no greater than 30 seconds. Also, according to the UL94 V0 classification, it is also imperative that no flaming drops are generated.
Bopla's Polycarbonate Watertight UL94 V0 enclosures are designed for use in the electro-mechanical and electronics industry. They are ideal for small instruments and junction boxes. Typical applications include relay module enclosures, geophysical sensoring equipment and temperature control monitors.
The Polycarbonate UL94 V0 box comes with a solid color lid and base, captive stainless steel lid screws, molded-in lid screw inserts in the base and a neoprene gasket. Wall mounting holes are molded into each corner. These holes are outside the internal chamber to maintain the enclosures watertight integrity (IP 65). Metric press-in brass inserts for internal mounting bosses are also available.
