Alument housings are constructed in rugged diecast
aluminum. Special advantages include: impact resistance, greater temperature resistance and unique “U” shaped lid/base design which simplifies electronic component installation and maintenance. Offered in three sizes, in either painted or unpainted versions. Standard painted color is light gray/blue gray. Four M4 screws assemble the housing from the bottom base. Optional front access lid screws can be used for wall mount applications. Rose+Bopla uses ALSi 12 copper free alloy with a copper content of .10 percent. The reduction in copper content increases the natural corrosion resistance properties of aluminum. |
