Rose+Bopla’s fiberglass Ex “Okta-Box” enclosures offer new dimensions in equipment safety. New design provides simple external mounting without separate brackets and has more potential rail fixing positions inside. Recessed areas are provided on the lid for label installation, etc. Offered in three types: Increased Safety (06), Intrinsic Safety (16), and Empty (26). Designed to conform to CENELEC standards EN 50014, EN 50019 and EN 50020 as E Exe II T5 safety terminal block enclosures. The Okta-Box enclosure should not be confused with Ex d cast explosion-proof boxes.
Okta-Box features include: compression molded fiberglass lid and base with 40% graphite filler impregnated;
captive stainless steel lid screws; and silicone gasket. Allen head lid screws are available as an option, as well as internal grounding plates for off-shore application. |
