The high functionality in data and power transfers, as well as the appealing design are features that distinguish this desktop/wall station for storage, locking and contacting applications. The
system consists of two basic sizes for desktop or wall use, or
as a lid model for wall or front panel fitting. A variety of screw-on adapters also permits the use of these docking stations with many Rose+Bopla handheld enclosures.
A four stage adjustable locking system provides the
appropriate locking force for different applications. Screw-on adapters, with or without a clip, are used to mount the enclosure. If the existing locking force is insufficient for your application, for example, use with large equipment and high levels of vibration, additional springs can be factory-fitted on request to increase the locking force.
The UDS-S is also designed for mobile use in-vehicle by means of matched mounting drill holes that are suitable for standard adapters and rocker switches. All enclosure contours are designed according to vehicle standard 74/60/EWG. Vibration and shock tests based on motor vehicle or lorry test
specifications are available on request.
Power and data transfer is done by special contact PCBs (available as accessories), which retain the ingress protection category of the handheld enclosure. On the rear of its base the UDS-L has a recessed installation area for the concealed fitting of plugs and inserts.
