Please take the following into account when selecting system parts:
• All front, base and rear parts in a basic
size can be combined with each
other.
• The different enclosure parts can be
hinged to each other.
• Front and rear parts can also be
mounted direct-without base part.
• Special tie bar sets are required to
assemble the selected enclosure
configuration.
• We recommend that CombiCard®
1000-3000 systems be assembled
and processed in our factory. |

Created by Rose+Bopla to overcome the limitations of standard “off-the-shelf” housings, the flexible CombiCard® system provides the engineer with the capacity to adapt an enclosure to specific needs. Modular front, center and rear sections can be linked together in various combinations to produce a multitude of
custom enclosure designs.
The CombiCard® system is manufactured in ABS plastic, clear doors are polycarbonate. Modular sections are offered in three different external frame dimensions: 5¼” x 5½” (System 1000), 7¼” x 5½” (System 2000), and 11” x 5½” (System 3000).
The depth of CombiCard® combinations is variable depending on the number of modular sections joined together. When assembling CombiCard® combinations, front, center, and rear sections are linked together by a set of four aluminum tie bars. These bars pass
through molded-in channels in the corners of each modular section. Screws supplied with the front and rear sections attach into the ends of the bars drawing all sections together to make one complete enclosure. Tongue and groove channel, with a gasket between sections, provides dust/watertight sealing. Front and/or rear sections can also be hinged to allow easy access to internal components. Optional card frame accessories accommodate the installation of single height VMEbus boards, modular plug-in power supplies, etc. Back planes are offered in DIN 41612, DIN 41617 and press-in mother-board varieties.
CombiCard® combinations can be panel mounted (DIN 43700), wall mounted or equipped with prop-up handle for table-top applications. |
