You would easily expect to pay more for these superior quality aluminum enclosures–especially when compared to ones made from sheet metal. We have a dedicated, custom machine control enclosure assembly line in our Frederick, Maryland manufacturing facility. This allows us to offer the 5400 
at an exceptional value.
     The 5400 is made of rugged, extruded aluminum and self-reinforced with internal ribs and slots, so you need no additional support plate or bracket to reinforce the coupling hole. That’s another way Rose+Bopla saves you money. Not only do the ribs and slots provide strength, they also provide flexibility–more internal mounting options compared to flat sheet metal with corner rails. Series 5400 enclosures stand up to the rigors of manufacturing environments. Heavy-duty aluminum extrusion gives the enclosure body a high degree of structural strength. An internal gasket protects against dust, water, chips and cutting fluids.
     The enclosures have a clean, high-tech look to complement the technology of the controls inside and to enhance the look of the total machine. Assembly hardware is concealed beneath corner screw covers. Bezels hide front/rear panel hardware for an improved appearance. The attractive, silver-gray aluminum extrusion can be painted to match an existing company color scheme. You can choose front and rear panels in clear anodized aluminum, black anodized aluminum or mill finish aluminum suitable for painting. Bezels, handles, hinges, and locks are injection-molded in dark gray.
     For convenience, front and rear aluminum panels have no external gaskets to deal with, can be easily removed and machined, then reinstalled. Rose+Bopla can machine front and rear panels to fit major brands of CNC controllers, as well as your unique designs. 19" card frame installation is also a snap. Hinged front and rear doors can be equipped with key locks for security. Optional clear doors protect front panel controls while providing a viewing window. Side handles have an ergonomic design for convenient operator manipulation of the control unit.
